In buildings with a wall construction that contains heat insulation with good sound absorbing properties, muffling grommets for ventilation purposes can be made with eh help of a single-walled drum that passes through an opening in the heat insulation of the wall construction and there presents perforations for acoustic connection between the drum interior and the heat insulation.
