PURPOSE:To reduce the relative lobing and suppress the side lobe, by comparing the amplitude of the signal, which is obtained by a receiver corresponding to a sum beam pattern, and that of the signal, which is obtained by a receiver correspondng to a (difference + omega) beam pattern, out of signals received by the same antenna and stopping the former signal if the amplitude of the latter is wider. CONSTITUTION:The signal received with a sum pattern is amplified and detected in the first receiver 23 and is applied to an amplitude comparator 25 and a gate circuit 26. The signal received with a (difference + omega) beam pattern is amplified and detected by the second receiver 24 and is applied to an amplitude comparator 25 and is compared with the output signal of the first receiver 23. When the output signal of the second receiver 24 is larger than that of the first receiver 23 by a certain value or more, that, is when the signal received with the (difference + omega) beam pattern is larger than the signal received with the sum beam pattern by a certain value or more, the output signal of the first receiver 23 is inhibited by a gate circuit 26. |
