PURPOSE:To allow a microprogram controller to evaluate a microprogram by changing the branching directions of a conditional branch instruction only when passing through a specified address of the microprogram stored in a control storage part at specified frequency. CONSTITUTION:A microprogram is stored in the control storage part 1 of a microprogram controller, and an execution address 14 is determined by an address controlling part 2 and stored in an address register 3; an instruction read out by the address is decoded by a decoding part 4, and one condition signal 25 among condition signals 24 of decision conditions C1-Cn is selected. In a comparison address register 6, the address of a conditional branch instruction for testing the decision condition is set, and a value (n) is set in a counting part A to set an inversion permit signal 20. When the registers have a coincident address, a counting part A goes down by one, and once the conditional branch instruction is executed (n) times, the branch destination is changed even if the decision condition is not changed, thereby evaluating an objective module which is not evaluated in normal operation. |
