PURPOSE:To increase the reliability of a complex computer system when a power plant is controlled with plural computers, by substituting the function of a computer which performs a process of high priority with another computer which performs an ordinary process in case when the operation of said computer of high priority is stopped. CONSTITUTION:A power plant 8 is provided with plural generator units. A computer 1 takes charge of a function related to the process input and output, and a computer 2 performs a function related to the input and output of peripheral devices. A computer 10 has a function for a high-speed process input process. In case when either one of the computers 1, 2 and 10 has a fault, the functions of computers 1 and 2 back up with each other by means of switch devices 4, 6, 11 and 13. Then just a computer is exclusively used to execute the function of the computer 10. |
