PURPOSE:To enable to reuse control oil, by providing two seal members at the region where a fixed member and a rotatable member are held in sliding contact with each other, and dividing the space formed between the two seal members into two chambers through provision of a slinger so that a liquid to be handled by a pump and its control liquid can be recovered separately from each other. CONSTITUTION:A slinger consisting of a plate 26 extended from an impeller cap (a rotatable member) 2 and a plate 27 extended from a flow regulating plate (a fixed member) 11 is provided in a chamber defined by a seal 22 for preventing intrusion of a liquid to be handled by a pump and a seal 23 for preventing intrusion of a control liquid of the pump. With such an arrangement, liquid leaked from the seal 22 is carried into one recovery pipe 17b by the plate 26 of the slinger while oil leaked from the seal 23 is induced into the other recovery pipe 17a side by the plate 27 of the slinger. Therefore, it is enabled to reuse the recovered control oil. |
