PURPOSE:To prevent erroneous counting, weighing, charge adjustment, etc., by detecting automatically malfunctions, which are generated in a weight detecting part, operation controlling part, storage part, display part, communication controlling part, power supply part, etc., to issue alarm. CONSTITUTION:A program as a malfunction detecting part 9a is so constituted that results of various four-rule arithmetic operations in a CPU9 are always proved. A malfunction detecting part 11a is provided with a current detector 22, and this current detector 22 detects respective currents of display elements corresponding to segments of a 7-segment display used in a display 14. In a malfunction detecting part 17a, reference voltage Vr2 used for confirmation of the operation of a power supply part 17 is outputted from an output terminal 20b of a reference voltage generator 20. |
