PURPOSE:To obtain a measure for the chattering phenomenon due to the collision between contacts, which is generated at the operation start time, in parts such as a relay, by providing the first counter, which starts counting clocks at the rise of the contact operation, and the second counter which is preset to a prescribed set time for every chattering pulse and is counted down in accordance with clock count. CONSTITUTION:A clock generator 7 outputs continuously clock pulses having a certain period in accordance with the clock frequency. An AND element 20 is inserted between the first clock counter 7 and the clock generator 1. A comparator 3 compares a maximum time T0 of the chattering duration of a relay to be tested, which is set unequivocally, with the accumulated value of the first clock counter 2; and when they coincide with each other, the comparator 3 resets (RS) a flip flip (FF) circuit. A down counter 5 for measuring the chattering time is preset (PS) at the rise of the operation of a contact 7. |
