PURPOSE:To guide surely a vehicle to a specific place, by discriminating whether the vehicle arrives at the specific place of a specific region or not on a basis of coordinate data of the current position and coordinate data of the specific place to discirminate the arrival at the specific place independently of courses through which the vehicle approaches the specific place. CONSTITUTION:X- and Y-component digital signals from a direction detector 1, the distance pulse from a distance sensor 2, the read signal from a reader 3, etc. are received to execute the operation processing, and display signals for the map of a specific region, traveling sourse information, etc. are generated and are displayed on a CRT display 6 through a CRT controller. The arrival at a specific place is discriminated on a basis of coordinate data of the specific place, which is read out from a storage means, and coordinate data of the current position, and the vehicle is guided to the specific place on a basis of guide information stored in the storage means when this arrival is discriminated. |
