PURPOSE:To facilitate centering by supporting a shift drum and a speed change cam to a transmission casing through a common bearing, by inserting a locating pin into the opposite portion of said shift drum and said speed change cam, and by connecting both with a coupling bolt. CONSTITUTION:A shift drum 3 and a speed change cam 7 are supported to a transmission casing (M) through a common bearing 2. A locating pin 10 is inserted into pin apertures 9, 9 formed on the opposite portion of the boss 4, 8 of both 3, 7 to locate in a rotary direction. A coupling bolt 13 is inserted into a bolt penetration aperture 12 of said speed change cam 7 and screwed in the threaded holes of a shift drum 3 to couple both 3, 7. As a result, the axis of both 3, 7 are coincident and centering can be facilitated. Loseness of both 3, 7 can be prevented since the impact load can be supported by said locating pin 10 to apply no load to said coupling bolt 13 during a changing-over operation. |
