PURPOSE:To reduce the number of component parts of a cleaner for fluid, by sealing the peripheral portion of a filter element with a single gasket in arranging a filter element assembly in a cleaner consisting of a case and a cap. CONSTITUTION:A cap 22 is forcibly pressed toward a case 21A by tightening a nut 46 on a center bolt 45. The force is transmitted from a rib 52 of the cap 22 to an end plate 4A via a flange 6A, so that the end plate 4A is brought into contact with a gasket 33A and a flange 36 of the cap 22 is also brought into contact with the gasket 33A. Therefore, the interspace between the cap 22 and the case 21A and that between the gasket 33A and the outer peripheral portion of a filter element assembly 5A can be sealed by a single gasket 33A at the same time. |
