PURPOSE:To obtain a current proportional to the absolute temperature as well as a fixed current having no dependence on the absolute temperature, by using the 1st-3rd transistors, plural current mirrors, plural resistances and a starting circuit to form a reference current circuit. CONSTITUTION:A starting circuit 9 is provided to ensure the assured operations of the 1st and 2nd transistors TRQ1 and Q2 and current mirrors 6, 7 and 8 respectively after the application of a power supply. After the application of the power supply, a current equal to that flowing through a resistance R5 flows to the collector of a TRQ9. Thus the base currents of the TRQ1 and Q2 flow, and the collector current flows to the TRQ3 and Q4 of the mirrors 6 and 8 to start the working. After the working is started, a TRQ12 conducts. As a result, a TRQ11 conducts to stop the function of the circuit 9. When the temperature coefficient of the resistance R1 is set equal to that of a variable resistor 3, the current flowing to a TRQ13 is proportional to the absolute temperature. |
