PURPOSE:To obtain a retroreflecting material with high weather resistance by applying a weak adhesive to a sheetlike material, scattering fine glass spheres on the adhesive, slightly adhering them, forming a water soluble synthetic resin emulsion layer and a binder layer on the spheres, and stripping the layer under the spheres. CONSTITUTION:A weak adhesive 1 is applied to a sheetlike material 2, transparent fine glass spheres 3, 3' are scattered on the adhesive 1 and slightly adhered, and a water soluble synthetic resin emulsion layer 4 and a binder layer 5 of cement mortar or the like are formed on the spheres 3, 3'. After drying the layers, the layer under the resulting retroreflecting layer A contg. the spheres 3, 3' is stripped. Thus, a retroreflecting material with high weather resistance is obtd. |
