PURPOSE:To reinforce a bearing and to enhance durability and strength of the whole by forming a band-like elongated portion on the bottom strip of a channel member to cover the outer periphery of said bearing and by engaging the forward end of said elongated portion with a guide body. CONSTITUTION:To the intermediate back surface of a chain guide body 17, the bottom strip 21 of a channel member 20 made of a spring steel plate is attached at the inner periphery thereof through a process of welding or the like. Said channel member 20 is provided with a pair of side strips 19 preventing a lateral vibration of a chain (not shown). A band-like elongated portion 21a extending toward a bearing 25 is formed integrated with said bottom strip 21 of said channel member 20 to cover the outer periphery of said bearing 25 and pair of engaging pawls 26 formed on both sides of the forward end of the elongated portion 21a is engaged with said chain guide body 17. Whereby, the lateral vibration of said guide body 17 is prevented by cooperating a stopper 28 with a U-shaped groove 34 as well as excessive deflection of said guide body 17 is restricted with said stopper 28. |
