PURPOSE:To smoothly supply lubricating oil into an oil sump which is formed on the bottom of a bearing recess of a gear case by forming a notch in communication with the oil sump on the side wall of said bearing recess. CONSTITUTION:Bearing recesses 20 and 21 for an axle 11 and an intermediate shaft 17 are formed on a transmission cover 13, namely the side wall of a gear case 14 together with an insert hole 22 for an input shaft 8. An oil sump 21a is formed on the bottom of the bearing recess 21 of the intermediate shaft 17 while a notch 21c in communication with the oil sump 21a is formed on the side wall 21b thereof. |
