PURPOSE:To prevent the backlash between meshed gears from being varied by allowing a bearing holder fixed to a gear case to support a transmission shaft protruding from the back side of a skew bevel gear, via one double row angular contact type bearing and two nuts. CONSTITUTION:A transmission shaft 6 of a bevel gear 3 is supported by a bearing holder 7 which is engaged with an auxiliary gear case Ba, via one angular contact type ball bearing 11. A stopper flange 12 which abuts the internal end of an outer race 11a of the ball bearing 11 is formed at the internal end of the bearing holder. The first nut 13 which cooperates with the stopper flange 12 to catch the outer race 11a and the second nut 14 which cooperates with a shoulder 3a of the bevel gear 3 to catch an inner race 11i are screwed onto the internal peripheral face of the bearing holder 7 and the external peripheral face of the transmission shaft 6, respectively. |
