PURPOSE:To permit separation of films of only the same image planes as film strips by detecting the spliced parts of a long-sized negative film spliced randomly with the image planes of a full size and a hlaf size, and screening and disconnecting the films when the sizes of the picture planes before and after the spliced parts differ. CONSTITUTION:For example, in the case in which the top part 5F of a long- sized negative film spliced to a leader film 5L is of a full size and a film 5H of a half size is next spliced thereto, the spliced parts 7(1), 7(2) of the film delivered from a film supplying means 6 are detected with a detecting means 12 and are cut with a cutting means 9 in accordance with the signals emitted from a DP bag detecting means when the operator charges DP bags into corresponding stacking boxes 15F or 15H according to the sizes of the negatives checked on a stage 8 and the signals from the means 12. The films of the images planes of the same sizes are spliced to each other and are taken up separately with take-up means 11F, 11H. |
