The device is for retention of a circuit card in a box with walls attached to the box base. The card fits parallel to the box base. The card fits parallel to the box base, and there is at least one track for its edge on the inside of one of the box walls, with at least one shelf on the inside of an opposing box wall, likewise for the card edge. There is a counterpiece against the card edge within a third of the box walls, and at least one releasable holder inside a fourth of the box walls opposite to the third wall. This holder has recesses which encompass the card edge, and a base plate with the retention tongues - one in the base plate front edge, and two on its opposite sides. - The bottom of the box has a recess corresponding to the base plate with indentations matching the retention tongues.
