PURPOSE:To reduce the air blasting noise by providing a high-pressure air relief port and its opening/closing means on the discharge port side of a blower, opening the relief port when the discharge air pressure is equal to or greater than a preset value, and closing it when the pressure is equal to or smaller than the preset value. CONSTITUTION:When a blowout mode is switched to Heat or Defrost, the ventilating resistance in a duct B becomes high, and the air static pressure near a discharge port (b) is increased. When the air static pressure exceeds a preset level and overcomes the tare weight of a damper 2, the relief port damper 2 is pushed by the air pressure and is opened to release the high- pressure air. In this case, the opening of the damper 2 is proportional to the magnitude of the air pressure. Therefore, when the air static pressure becomes the preset level or lower, the damper 2 droops by its tare weight and closes the relief port 2, thus the release of the air pressure is prevented. According to this constitution, the air blasting noise can be reduced. |
