In a process for reducing the harm to the environment by the incidence of dust during the filling of stationary containers with blowable or dust-like materials from multi-chamber silo vehicles, the filling material being blown over from the silo vehicle into the stationary container by way of a filling line by means of conveying air, and the spent air being guided by way of a vent line, and in a vehicle for carrying it out, the harm to the environment caused simply by the dust contents of the spent air is to be reduced and, in particular, also during the overfilling of stationary silos, harm to the environment is to be avoided completely. This is achieved in that, during the blowing over, the vent line is connected to a silo chamber of the silo vehicle other than that to be emptied, the silo vehicle (1) being equipped with at least one connection (8) for a vent line (6) coming from a stationary fillable container (4). <IMAGE>
