The invention relates to polyphenylene ether resins and resin preparations mixed with trineopentylene diphosphite as oxidation stabiliser at elevated temperature. These materials can be used with or without an impact modifier for the polyphenylene ether resin. A further advantage is that the resins and preparations have relatively high heat resistance.
