In a pack cushion for therapeutic purposes having a liquid-tight cushion cover which is closed on all sides and with cooling matter contained therein, the possible applications are to be maintained, such as simple handling and selective treatment of specific parts of the body; in addition, as large a quantity of heat as possible should be extractable therefrom, and this is done by the cooling matter having water as a constituent and an additive which forms suspensions of pulverised solid particles and/or emulsions therewith.
