On cranes with manoeuvrable load-carriers, one or more lines for serving the load-carrier lead out to the load-carrier suspended from a crane arm from one collector arranged on the crane arm or the crane stand through the free space 16 between the load-carrier 10 and the crane arm 3/crane stand 2. The line can be hydraulic, pneumatic and/or electric. A catching line 18 is also drawn through the same space to suppress the load's or the load-carrier's swings. The collector is part of a unit 12 which also includes means 30, 31, 38, 42 to collect and respectively break the catch line. The unit includes two collection drums. One 26 is arranged for said line 14, 15, while the other is arranged for the catch line. The drums are connected to one unit 23 with a shared rotation centre 25. The drums 26, 28, 30 have the same comparatively large circumference. A brake 38, 44 is arranged to brake the drums when the catch line is pulled out from said collection drum. The means 41, 42, 37 are arranged to freely rotate said unit 23 around its rotation axle when the load-carrier is lifted or changes position so that the line's or the catch line's reach through said free space is reduced. Further, the catch line is arranged to always be kept stretched while acted upon by the brake while the line is directed out to the load-carrier with some slack which is maintained constant by means of the line and the catch-line being coiled in and coiled off at the same rate on the collection drums which are all the same size. <IMAGE> |
