The adjustable radial piston pump according to the embodiment in Fig.1 has a rotor with a plurality of pistons, the outer ends of which slide on a cam ring (24), which can be twisted by a hydraulically operated sliding piston (31) for the purpose of adjusting to the no-stroke position. Control ducts (52, 66) for the feeding and removal of the pressure medium fed by an auxiliary pump (40) on the low pressure side are formed in a distributor (38) integrally formed with the rotor. Due to twisting of the cam ring (24) the low pressure control is so adjusted that the delivered pressure medium can flow directly back to the low pressure side. In the delivery position of the cam ring the pressure medium is led by way of a pressure valve (48) to the consumer side, for example to injection nozzles of an injection pump. Adjustment of the cam ring may be advantageously performed by way of a servo piston control, which is actuated by way of a preferably timed solenoid valve (61).
