PURPOSE:To improve separation of a sheet and reliability of supply, in an electronic copying machine and the like, by constituting a device such that load torque of a feed roller is detected to adjust forcibly contacting force of a feed roller friction member through the detected load torque. CONSTITUTION:Load torque of a feed roller 5 is detected by a torque detector 10, constituted by a strain gage, operational amplifier and A/D converter, and its detected signal is input to a microcomputer 23. The signal is compared with upper and lower limit values of adequate load torque of the microcomputer 23, in accordance with a deviation quantity, a driving signal of a control motor 16 is output. Accordingly, the motor 16 is driven by the amount in accordance with the load torque to adjust tension of a rope 14. In this way, friction rollers 4 are moved swinging through levers 11 to adjust forcibly contacting force to the feed roller 5. In this constitution, separative supply of a sheet can be surely performed even if a device is used for a long period. |
