PURPOSE:To enable a starting position for printing the first line in the subsequent printing operation to be arbitrarily selected, by a method wherein a selecting switch for control codes is provided, and the subsequent printing operation is started by a control code designated by the switch when a printing operation is finished. CONSTITUTION:In a printer controller provided with a printing data and code reading step 1 storing the data to be printed and a control code checking part 2 for the transmission of printing data, the control code selecting switch 4 for selecting various control codes such as new line, form feeding and carriage returning is provided and the subsequent printing operation is started by the control code desingated by the switch 4 when a printing operation is finished. Accordingly, for example, the printing position can be freely adjusted so that printing is not conducted on perforated lines M of a printing paper. |
