PURPOSE:To produce a homogeneous cast rod continuously by providing a continuous casting machine, a drawing device, a cutter, a heting furnace and hot rolling devices respectively continuously. CONSTITUTION:The molten metal admitted into a low frequency heating and holding device 2 for molten metal from a melting furnace 1 passes through communicating holes from the opening part 3 in the device 2 and is formed and drawn as a brass wire of a specified rod shape through die ports. The brass wire drawn out by a drawing device 8 is cut by a cutter 9 and the cut wires are heated and redrawn in a heating furnace 12. The wires are hot-rolled with hot rolling devices B, whereby prescribed brass products are obtained. |
