PURPOSE:To prevent an ink donor sheet from absorbing moisture and to prevent the occurrence of a poor thermal transfer recording, by birnging the ink donor sheet, fed from a feed roll, into slide contact with a guide member mounted to a part in the proximity of a recording part. CONSTITUTION:A guide member 13 is bent so that is contacts a running path, bent in a ?-shape, extending from a spot, where an ink donor sheet 3 is fed from a feed roll 1, to a spot where the sheet 3 reaches a recording part A, the member 13 being positioned at the running path. It is adisable that the guide member 3 is formed of a polyethylene sheet having a slightly wider width than that of the ink donor sheet 3 and a thickness of about 0.5mm.. The base paper surface side of the ink donor sheet 3 is brought into slide contact with the guide member 13. |
