PURPOSE:To obtain a magnetron, which causes no liquid leakage and in which an output ring is completely joined to an anode seal, by coating the output ring with a brazing member such as a Cu-Ag alloy by plating work, connecting the output ring to the anode seal, and melting the brazing member coat so as to perform brazing between the output ring and the anode seal. CONSTITUTION:The figure indicates the joint part between an output ring 1 and an anode seal 3, which is an example of this invention. The symbol 8 represents a brazing-member layer formed by plating work. In this invention, since a brazing member diffuses homogeneously over the surface of the ring 1 which is joined with the seal 3, by compulsorily attaching the plated ring 1 to the seal 3, complete junction can be achieved by reducing the amount of the brazing member to an amount smaller than that used in using the conventional ring-like brazing member. According to the material of the ring 1 and the material of the plated brazing member, an alloy between the brazing member and the material of the ring 1 develops during the junction work. In this invention, any work miss such as forgetting of the setting of a brazing ring is securely prevented, and the setting process of the brazing ring becomes unnecssary. |
