A packing having a part made of cardboard and another of synthetic material. The cardboard part consists of a bottom (1), of lateral walls (3 to 6) and of rims (7 to 10), each one in prolongation of a wall. To this part in cardboard a synthetic sheet (19) is added by thermoforming in a mould. A frame (16) is placed between the base (13) and the cover (14). Compressed air is introduced as indicated by the arrows (F1) after heating of the sheet (19), so that it starts to be deformed at the center and then Folds the rims (7 to 10) against the upper part of the base (13). Thus, one obtains simultaneously the folding of the rims to a horizontal position, the glueing of all walls and the lining of the cardboard part with the sheet (19). Packing for all products including humid ones like foodstuffs. A cover can be sealed upon it, the packing becoming then suitable for deep-freezing pasteurizing and other operations.
