<p>IN THE CANADIAN PATENT AND TRADEMARK OFFICE PATENT APPLICATION entitled: Excavating machine in the name of: Andr? CHALINDAR assignee: Soci?t? St?phanoise de Constructions M?caniques Soci?t? Anonyme organized under French Law. The invention relates to an excavating machine constituted by a mobile frame, an arm which supports a mining tool and which is coupled to the frame with interposition of a chassis-upperstructure assembly, on which it is mounted to pivot about a first axis, which is horizontal and transversal, the said chassis-upperstructure assembly comprising an upperstructure which is orientable with respect to the frame about a second axis which is vertical, and a chassis orientable with respect to the frame about a third axis which is horizontal and parallel to the longitudinal axis of the frame. The chassis is directly mounted on the main frame for rotation about the said third axis, the upperstructure being itself directly mounted on the said chassis, for rotation about the second axis. The invention finds an application as a high output machine, in the mining of galleries with transversely inclined roofs. :</p> |
