PURPOSE:To shorten a processing time by executing line generation based upon a digital differential analyzer(DDA) system simultaneously from both the start and end sides. CONSTITUTION:Start point coordinates 1 and end point coordinates 2 are applied to XY coordinates in an image memory 1A. An arithmetic means 4 calculates the increment of the X coordinate address of the start point coordinates 1 as the decrement of the X coordinate address of the end point coordinates 2. A dot generating means 5 generates dots from the end point coordinates 2 simultaneously with the increment of the start point coordinates 1 in the direction to the center part of a straight line drawn by the arithmetic means 4 using the X coordinate address as its decrement. |
