PURPOSE:To test the dynamical properties of ground by applying a dynamic wave-form load to the ground by a method in which a static load is applied through a loading plate to the ground by means of an oil-pressure actuator and then the pressure of the working oil of the actuator is varied. CONSTITUTION:A loading plate 32 with an oil-pressure type actuator 33 is put into a hole formed under the ground and then a pressure oil is sent to the actuator 33 through a valve 41 by means of an oil-pressure pump 34 to apply a given static load to the ground through the loading plate 32. Then, by driving a motor 42, a cylinder 13 is moved in a rocking manner through a change gear 10, a crank mechanism 25, and a connecting rod 26, and a piston 2 moves reciprocally while an oil-pressure piston-cylinder device 1 moves in a rocking manner on the shaft 16 as a supporting point. Thus, the pressure of the working oil in the oil- pressure cylinder 14 is varied, the pressure variation is transmitted through pipes 36 and 40 to the cylinder of the oil-pressure type actuator 33, and thereby the pressure of the working oil in the cylinder is varied, whereupon a dynamic wave-form load is applied to the ground by the loading plate 32. |
