Telephone sets are arranged so that each call which is addressed to a telephone set will be covered by a single button 210 on an arbitrary line representation at the telephone set, for any of a number of other service telephone sets. Any other telephone set can also have its call directed to the same service telephone set and, if so desired, to the same call service button 210 on the serving set 205. By distinguishing of ring signals and intermittent signals and by handling both of them by the telephone set, it is possible to allow both ringing and visual signals 211, 212 for the call if they are served by a telephone set while the call servicing if done by a different telephone set can be arranged so that only visual signals are sent. <IMAGE> |
