<p>PURPOSE:To make In-Sn electrodes brown to recognize visually electrodes easily, by providing a metallic In-Sn film on a substrate by sputtering and etching this metallic film into a desired electrode pattern and providing an orientation film on the metallic film and subjecting it to heat treatment. CONSTITUTION:A glass substrate 1 of a liquid crystal display device is washed, and a brown metallic In-Sn film 2 consisting of 90mol% In and 10mol% Sn is provided on the substrate 1 by sputtering. A dilute aqueous hydrochloric acid solution is used to etch the In-Sn film into a desired electrode pattern. Since the metallic film 2 is brown, it is recognized easily in the work.</p> |
