<p>Prods. for treatment of acne comprise two separately packaged components (1) a fluid lotion base comprising 0.1-1.0 wt.% of a sucrose mono- and/or diester derived from an 8-20C alkanoic acid, 0.1-8 wt.% of a sulphoxide of formula RSOR' (where R is decyl, nonyl, 2-hydroxyundecyl or dodecyl and R' is Me, or R is octyl and R' is hydroxyisopropyl, or R is nonyl and R' is Et), 30-70 wt.% H2O and 30-70 wt.%. EtOH; and (2) a dry anti-acne comprising tetracycline hydrochloride (I), epitetracycline hydrochloride (II) or a 1:1 mixt. of (I) and (II). The amt. of component (2) is such that the concn. of anti-acne agent is 0.1-1.0 wt.% when the components are mixed. The 2-component kit provides better storage stability than the corresp. premixed compsns. (cf. NL7304699).</p> |
