This invention relates to a rotor actuated by a fluid, especially for operating by means of wind action, consisting of blades (vanes) 4 located around the generatrix of a truncated cone and extending in the longitudinal direction of the generatrix. The invention is characterized in that the distance between two adjacent blades 4, 5, 45 is shorter than the width of the respective blade, in that at least one of the support members 2, 3 is open and allows communication between the inside of the rotor and the environment, and in that the blades 4, 5, 45 are tilted at an angle of some 20 to 30 degree with respect to the axis of the rotor. |
