PURPOSE:To enable to stably drive a condensing pump by a structure wherein a partition wall is provided in the lower portion of a high vacuum condensing part in order to divide the lower portion into two sections and the necessary suction head for the condensing pump is secured within one of said two sections of the high vacuum condensing part even in case that the water level in a low vacuum condensing part descends extremely low. CONSTITUTION:The titled condenser consists of the low vacuum condensing part 11 and the high vacuum condensing part 12, both bottom parts housing condensate therewithin of which are communicated with each other by means of a leveling pipe 14 and the condensate is discharged from the condensing part 12 by means of the condensing pump 15. In the double pressure condenser as mentioned above, the partition wall 16 is provided in the lower portion of the condensing part 12 in order to divide the lower portion into two sections 13 and 13a and the section 13 is rendered to be communicated with the bottom part of the condensing part 11 and as well as the condensate is to be discharged from the section 13a. Accordingly, the case may occur that the internal pressure of the condensing part 11 becomes high from one cause or another, resulting in pushing up the water level of the condensing part 12 so the water level difference between the condensing part 11 and the condensing part 12 is brought to the degree that there exists no water level in the pipe 14, not to speak of in the condensing part 11. Even in that case, the necessary suction head for the pump 15 is secured within the section 13a side, resulting in enabling the stable driving of the pump 15. |
