PURPOSE:To remove the excessive ink of the surface of the blanket uniformly by contacting an ink removing roller with a Cr metal surface with the surface of the blanket after ink is completely transferred to a material to be printed. CONSTITUTION:A blanket cylinder 1 is dropped while being moved in the right direction, the ink removing roller 3 with the Cr metal surface and a dust adsorbing roller 5 with an urethane rubber surface are contacted, excessive ink and dust on the cylinder 1 are removed, the rollers 3, 5 are detached from the cylinder 1 just before the surface region of the cylinder 1, to which ink is transferred from an intaglio 14, is contacted with the roller 3, and ink is transferred to the material to be printed 15. The rollers 3, 5 are contacted just before printing is completed and a picture on the cylinder 1 reaches the roller 3, the roller 3 is detached when the cylinder 1 reaches the rightest end while an ink removing roller 3' is contacted, and the cylinder 1 is reversed and moved in the left direction while residual ink and dust on the surface of the cylinder 1 and removed. |
