PURPOSE:To pick up an accurate image without pattern distortion, by arranging an optical system for correction of an optical path, which is rotated around an axis parallel to the scanning axis of an image pickup device, on the optical path connecting the image pickup device and an object to be picked up. CONSTITUTION:An optical system for correction of an optical path such as an optical path correcting glass 7 consisting of a parallel glass plate made of glass, plastics, or the like is arranged on the optical path between a scanning type image pickup device 1 and an object 2 to be picked up. this optical path correcting glass 7 is rotated around an axis parallel to the scanning axis, and the rotation angle is changed synchronously with scanning of the scanning type image pickup device 1. In the scanning type image pickup device of this invention, since the optical system for correction of an optical path which corrects the positional deviation of a picked-up image due to scanning is provided, an accurate image without pattern distortion is picked up. |
