PURPOSE:To bond the rubber and the steel cord strongly by using a vulcanizing mixture containing specified co-condensed resin, methylene dative compound and cobalt organic acid. CONSTITUTION:Co-condensed resin at the mol rations of 75/25-25/75 of (a) a resol type condensate, which is obtained from monovalent phenol (such as p- cresol)shown in a formulaI(R1, R2 are H, C1-12alkyl or C6-12 aryl) and formaldehyde and (b) a compound (such as resorcin) shown in a formula II (X is -OH or -NH2) or a formula III (R3, R4 are C1-4 alkyl) is used. That is, the vulcanizing mixture acquired by compounding (B) approximately 0.5-10wt.pt said co-condensed resin, (C) approximately 0.5-10wt.pt. compound (such as hexamethylenetetramine) which can donate methylene when heating and (D) approximately 1-10 wt.pt. cobalt organic acid (such as cobalt naphthenic acid) to (A) 100wt.pt. rubber is employed. |
