PURPOSE:To manufacture the tire with excellent working property and economical efficiency by directly carrying a green carcass to a secondary molding machine from a primary molding machine by using a travelling truck. CONSTITUTION:(i) A tire band T fitted to the drum 5 of the primary molding machine 1 is molded to the green carcass G by means of push rings 10 and turn-up bladders 11, and a tail stock 8 is separated and retreated. (ii) The carcass G is grasped through the holding means of the lifting frame 41 of the truck 3 (numerals 20 are cross beams and 27 are horizontal sliding frames) for carrying, which can be moved along over-rails 4, 4, and the carcass is carried to the predetermined position (displayed in a two-dot chain line) of the secondary molding machine 2 by means of the truck 3. (iii) Flanges 16, 16 are fitted to the bead sections Ga, Ga of the carcass G in an airtight manner, a belt held by means of a ring 19 for carrying is disposed to the outer circumference of the carcass G, the carcass G is deformed in toroidal form and pressure-welded and joined with the inner surface of the belt, and a green tire is shaped, and the tire is forwarded to a vulcanization process. |
