PURPOSE:To project a color television picture onto a large-sized screen, by deflecting a laser light in a high speed at a small angle and reflecting this laser light by a reflective face having a special curved surface to deflect it at a wide angle. CONSTITUTION:A laser beam 2 radiated from a laser light source 1 is led to a high-speed deflector 3 and is deflected at a small angle by this deflector 3. A laser beam 4 from this deflector 3 is projected to a wide-angle deflector 5. In this case, since dimensions of the laser beam 4 in the scanning direction correspond to the X axis and the directional angle of the tangent line of a curved line (stereoscopically, the contacting face of a curved surface) is changed in proportion to these dimensions, the reflection angle of the laser beam is wide in proportion to the tangent angle. Thus, a display where a color television picture is projected to a large-sized screen is obtained by the device of this invention. |
