PURPOSE:To prevent erroneous operations, by providing a cover switch which is driven by opening and closing of an upper carrying mechanism and keeps the output of an original feed switch ineffective when the upper carrying mechanism is opened. CONSTITUTION:A copying machine is provided with a cover switch window 27, and the first cover switch 29 is provided below this window 27. A projecting part is provided on an upper carrying mecahnism 5; and when the upper carrying mechanism 5 is closed, this projecting part is put into the cover switch window 27 to operate the first cover switch 29. The second cover switch 31 is provided in a position 31 under a guide plate 23, and this cover switch 31 is operated only when an original carrying tool is inserted into guide plates 23 and 25. By this constitution, erroneous copy operations due to erroneous operations are prevented. |
