<p>PURPOSE:To effectively compensate for the heat hysteresis of the heating element of a printer by providing a function to send out the picture signal of a latch circuit and a function to compare and send out the picture signals of the latch and shift register circuits for a gate circuit. CONSTITUTION:A gate circuit 15 is made up of an AND circuit 15a driven by the picture signal Q of a latch circuit 2a and gate signal from the terminals 16-1 of a semiconductor device selection circuit 16, an AND circuit 15b driven by the inversion picture signal Q' of the latch circuit 2a, the picture signal of a shift register circuit 1 and the gate signal of a terminal 16-2, and an OR circuit 15c to send out to a drive circuit 4 any of the signals of the AND circuits 15a and 15b. In such a device, gate signal is given to the terminal 16-2 for a period of time T1, the AND circuit 15b is driven only when no picture signal is present in the latch circuit 2a, the content of the shift register circuit 1 is transferred to the latch circuit 2a, and then gate signal is given to the terminal 16-1 for a period of time (T-T1), during which the AND circuit 15a is driven.</p> |
