PURPOSE:To produce damping effect between a pad and a torque receiving member by mounting a step portion on at least either a pad or a torque receiving member and disposing a vibration-proof member in a space between the step portion and the other part having no step portion. CONSTITUTION:An arm portion 2a of a torque receiving member 2 is provided with support surfaces 9a, 9b on which each end portion of an outer pad 6 and an inner pad 7 is placed. The upper vertical wall 18a and the lower vertical wall 18b are connected to both support surfaces 9a, 9b to form a step portion. Back plates 24, 25 forming the outer pad 6 and the inner pad 7 are provided with torque receiving members 2, lug portions 20, 21 being projected over both arm portions 2a of the torque receiving members 2. Respective lower surfaces of the lug portions 20, 21 are provided with step portions comprising the upper plane surface 28a, the lower plane surface 28b, the upper end surface 29a and the lower end surface 29b. A vibration-proof member 30 is stuck to the upper end surface 29a with a space set in such a manner that when the vibration-proof member 30 is deformed by a fixed amount, the lower end surface 29b and the lower vertical wall 18b are brought into contact with each other. |
