PURPOSE:To improve quality of a response at transfer time of a high load, by connecting the first secondary side throttle valve to a primary side throttle valve through a link mechnaism, responsively opening the second throttle valve to an increase of intake pressure and providing the first secondary side throttle valve and the second throttle valve in a secondary side intake passage. CONSTITUTION:A primary side throttle valve 5 is provided in a primary side intake passage 2a, while the first secondary side throttle valve 8, connected to the valve 5 through a link mechanism consisting of a link member 12 and the like, and the second secondary side throttle valve 9, constituting a diaphragm 14 in such a manner as to open with time delay from the valve 8 responsively to a rise of intake pressure, are provided in a secondary side intake passage 2b. In this way, the secondary side intake passage 2b is opened by the throttle valve 9, and responsive control can be performed to an intake quantity. Further at deceleration, when the throttle valve 5 is rapidly closed, the secondary side intake passage 2b is closed by the throttle valve 8, and delay closing is not caused, thus a trouble of less effective deceleration can be eliminated. |
