The space structure comprises nodes consisting of a sleeve (1) provided with holes for the passage of support tubes (4, 7), positioned perpendicularly with respect to each other, and locking, after mounting, diagonal bars (14, 15, 16, 17) connecting the sleeve (1) to neighbouring sleeves (20, 21, 22, 23). The sleeve is fitted with openings, allowing the exact positioning of diagonal bars (14, 15, 16, 17), a pin (30) being driven into the support tubes (4, 7) so as to lock the space structure assembly.
