<p>The roofing element for buildings consists of a base (3) carrying reinforcing laths (2). The laths are parallel to the apex of the roof, the space between each adjacent pair being filled with insulation (6). The base is planar and can receive a decorative dressing. The outer edges of the laths (2) are covered by a lattice work (9) which receives the titles or slates. A water-proof layer (7)covers the insulation leaving an air gap (8) between itself and the lattice work (9).</p> |
