<p>The fuse is for a rifle fired grenade and has a fuse arming cylinder (22) sliding in a tubular body (14). This moves between a safe position where it holds a firing pin (44) spaced from a primer (58) and another where the pin is free. Cylinder movement to an active position is by impact of the rifle bullet. The cylinder has a base (24) to withstand this impact. In the base is a cylindrical hollow (62), to avoid a bullet ricochet against the cylinder. The pin is retained by guide balls (50).</p> |
