<p>The wrench for tightening or releasing the bolts which secure railway tracks to sleeper has a reversible motor, driven by compressed air which feeds a reduction gear (2) incorporating a torque limiter (3). A frame (5) attached to the tool body carries a wheel (6) at its free end, which allows the tool to be moved alont the track. The use of a remote air compressor feeding through a pipe (8) makes the machine portable and prevents the tool from being used manually when the compressor is turned off.</p> |
